On February 27, 2025, the Foundation for Access to Rights (FAR) successfully held an information session aimed at refugees and migrants seeking employment. The event provided valuable insights into training and employment opportunities, as well as legal guidance on labor rights.

The session took place both in person at the FAR Office in Dobrich and online via Zoom. Additionally, participants joined from the Center for Accommodation – Voenna Rampa. A total of 50 participants attended the session, actively engaging with experts and asking questions about their rights and opportunities in the labor market.

The event featured two key presentations:

  • A representative from the Employment Office – Dobrich introduced the current training and employment programs available to refugees and migrants.
  • A lawyer from FAR provided essential legal guidance regarding labor rights, addressing specific concerns and challenges faced by job seekers.

The interactive format of the session allowed attendees to receive direct answers to their questions and practical advice tailored to their situations.

The information session is conducted within the framework of the project “Access to Employment for Refugees and Migrants - #PROP-000475,” funded by the Bulgarian Fund for Women (BFW).

As part of the project, FAR will work to enhance the knowledge and awareness of job seekers and workers regarding their labor and social security rights through information sessions and individual consultations with lawyers specializing in refugee and migration law, social mediators, and employment intermediaries.
