    OPERATOR OF A SOFTWOOD PELLET PRODUCTION LINE

    SHIKO Ltd. is looking for an experienced operator of a softwood pellet production line.

    This position is for a skilled machine operator who can manage and control the entire production process. We are not looking for a general worker. Previous experience in pellet production or operating a similar production line is mandatory.

    Main responsibilities

    • Operating and controlling the entire softwood pellet production line.
    • Working with pellet presses, hammer mills, crushers, conveyors, coolers, screens and packaging machines.
    • Adjusting the machinery according to the type, moisture content and quality of the raw material.
    • Monitoring material feeding and moisture levels.
    • Controlling the quality, durability and output of the finished pellets.
    • Monitoring the operating parameters of the machinery.
    • Identifying malfunctions and technical problems promptly.
    • Performing basic adjustments, cleaning and daily technical maintenance.
    • Controlling the complete production process—from raw-material preparation to the packaging of the finished product.
    • Complying with all workplace health and safety requirements.

    Mandatory requirements

    • Proven practical experience in wood pellet production or operating a similar industrial production line.
    • Experience with pellet presses, hammer mills, crushers and packaging machinery.
    • Ability to operate and control the production process independently.
    • Good technical knowledge and the ability to identify machinery problems.
    • Responsibility, discipline and willingness to work on a long-term basis.
    • Conversational knowledge of at least one of the following languages: Bulgarian, English or Russian.

    Additional advantages

    Experience or a valid licence to operate any of the following will be considered an advantage:

    • forklift;
    • small front-end loader;
    • small truck;
    • other industrial or loading and unloading equipment.
